# Team Settings

Team settings let you configure your workspace preferences. Access them by clicking **Team** in the sidebar (visible to team owners only).

## Team name

Update your team's display name. This is used throughout the application and can be changed at any time.

## Date format

Choose how dates appear in your generated documents. Available formats include:

| Format | Example |
| -------------- | -------------- |
| MM/DD/YYYY | 03/22/2026 |
| DD/MM/YYYY | 22/03/2026 |
| YYYY-MM-DD | 2026-03-22 |
| Month DD, YYYY | March 22, 2026 |
| DD Month YYYY | 22 March 2026 |
| Mon DD, YYYY | Mar 22, 2026 |
| DD Mon YYYY | 22 Mar 2026 |

This setting applies to all date fields across every document generated by your team, including dates shown on entity detail pages.

## Tax ID

Your company's tax number, like a TIN or VAT number. QuickBooks doesn't share it with apps, so you enter it here once.

It prints wherever a template uses `${COMPANY_TAX_ID}`, on documents and in [file names](/docs/features/templates#file-name). Leave it blank if you don't need it.

## Quantity decimal places

Choose whether line item quantities on your generated documents show decimal places.

| Setting | Example |
| ----------------------------- | --------------- |
| Always show two | 13,000.00, 2.50 |
| Only when there is a fraction | 13,000, 2.5 |

**Only when there is a fraction** writes whole numbers without decimal places and shows up to two decimal places when a quantity has a fraction. Teams created before this setting was added start on **Always show two**, so their documents stay as they were. New teams start on **Only when there is a fraction**.

## Time zone

Choose the time zone your team works in. Scheduled runs use it to decide when to start, so a run set for 9:00 AM starts at 9:00 AM where you are.

Dates and times shown on screen always appear in your own time zone, whichever one the team is set to.

## Branding

The **Branding** section controls how designed templates look. See [Designed Templates](/docs/features/designed-templates) for how these are used.

- **Logo** — PNG or JPEG, up to 2 MB. Designed templates place it in their header.
- **Accent color** — the color designed templates use for headings and highlights.
- **Page size** — Letter or A4, applied to every designed template. It's set from your QuickBooks company's country when you first connect: Letter in the US, Canada, Mexico and a few other countries, and A4 everywhere else.

If Missing Toolkit: Templates found a logo on your company website, it appears here under **Found on your website** — accept it with one click, or decline it.

## Integrations

The **Integrations** tab shows all available data source connections. From here you can:

- **Connect** a new data source (e.g., QuickBooks Online)
- **Browse Data** on a connected source to view its entities (everyone on the team can also do this from **Connections** in the sidebar)
- **Disconnect** a data source (your templates and mappings are preserved)

Even data sources you haven't connected yet are listed, so you can see what's available.
